Welcome to Naam Jap. These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Ayelite Technologies ("we", "us", "our") governing your download, installation, and use of the Naam Jap mobile application (the "App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Naam Jap is a devotional utility that helps you count mantra repetitions (jap), complete malas, set daily goals, maintain practice streaks, read devotional stories, and enjoy related features. The App is offered for personal, non-commercial spiritual practice.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Android devices that you own or control, for your personal use, in accordance with these Terms and Google Play's terms of service.

The App is free to use and supported by advertising. An optional one-time purchase, Naam Jap Pro, permanently removes advertisements.
The free version of the App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob and its partners. Advertisements are the property of their respective advertisers. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or for websites, products, or services they link to. Interactions with an advertiser are solely between you and that advertiser.
Your practice data (chants, streaks, mantras, settings) is stored only on your device. Please read our Privacy Policy, which explains what limited information third-party services process and how. The Privacy Policy is part of these Terms.
You are responsible for backing up your device. Practice data is not synced to any server, so uninstalling the App or using "Reset All Data" permanently erases it — we cannot recover it for you.
The App — including its design, artwork, animations, code, and original text — is owned by Ayelite Technologies and protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. Traditional mantras and scriptural names belong to the shared spiritual heritage of humanity; our original presentation, curation, and translations of accompanying content remain our property. Custom mantras you type into the App remain yours and never leave your device.
We may update, modify, or discontinue the App (or any feature of it) at any time, with or without notice. Updates may be required for continued use. We aim to keep the App available and working smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and features that depend on third-party services (such as advertising or Google Play) may be affected by those services.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, BE ACCURATE, OR BE FREE OF DEFECTS. THE APP IS A COUNTING AND DEVOTIONAL AID ONLY; ANY SPIRITUAL, RELIGIOUS, OR WELLNESS OUTCOMES ARE BEYOND OUR CONTROL AND ARE NOT PROMISED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AYELITE TECHNOLOGIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE APP. IN ANY CASE, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (OR ₹100 IF YOU HAVE PAID NOTHING). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
These Terms apply for as long as you use the App. We may suspend or terminate your license if you breach these Terms. You may end the agreement at any time by uninstalling the App. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 4, 6, 8, 9, and 12) survive termination.
The App is intended for a general audience. If you are under the age required to accept these Terms in your country, you may use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. Nothing in this section deprives you of mandatory consumer protections of the country where you reside.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through the App or its store listing. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
