This Privacy Policy explains how Ayelite Technologies ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use the Naam Jap mobile application (the "App"). We built Naam Jap to be a peaceful, private space for your daily practice — we collect as little as possible, and your spiritual activity stays on your device.
Naam Jap does not require an account, sign-in, or any personal profile. We do not collect, store, or transmit:
To keep the App free, Naam Jap shows advertising and uses a small number of trusted services. These services may automatically collect limited, non-identifying device information:
a. Google AdMob (advertising). The App displays banner, interstitial, and app-open advertisements served by Google AdMob and its certified mediation partners. AdMob may collect and process your device's advertising identifier (Advertising ID), IP address, coarse (approximate) location derived from IP, device model, and ad-interaction data (such as views and clicks) to serve and measure ads, prevent fraud, and — where permitted — personalize ads. You can learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and control ad personalization at myadcenter.google.com. You may also reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time in your device's Settings → Privacy → Ads.
b. Google Play Billing (purchases). If you purchase the optional one-time "Naam Jap Pro" upgrade (removes ads), the transaction is processed entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your payment card details, billing address, or other payment information. Google's handling of that data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. The App stores only a simple flag on your device (and verifiable purchase record with Google Play) indicating that Pro is unlocked.
c. Ayelite configuration service. On launch, the App contacts our own configuration service to fetch remote settings (for example, which ad placements are enabled). This request includes basic technical details necessary to answer it (such as app version and platform) and does not include any personal information or practice data.
Text-to-speech (the "Speak Mantra" feature) is performed by your device's own speech engine. Mantra text is processed on-device and is not sent to us.
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will address it promptly.
Because your practice data exists only on your device, you are always in control of it:
Data collected by Google (such as ad-interaction data) is retained according to Google's own policies, which we do not control.
Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/EEA under GDPR, or California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, and to opt out of personalized advertising. Since we ourselves hold no personal data about you, these rights are best exercised:
Where consent for personalized ads is required (such as in the EEA/UK), Google's consent framework is used to ask for your choice, and you can change it at any time.
The App communicates with ad and configuration services over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Practice data never leaves your device. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure, but our minimal-collection design means there is effectively no personal data of yours for us to lose.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time (for example, if we add new features or if legal requirements change). The "Effective date" above will always reflect the latest revision, and material changes will be highlighted within the App or its store listing. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
