Everything Christian Prayer Lock can do

Guard your gates

How it works

  1. 1

    Guard your gates

Pick the apps that steal your attention — social media, shopping, anything — and place them behind the prayer lock.

  2. 2

    Pray at the gate

When you open a guarded app, share how you're feeling and receive scripture and a personalized prayer. Say Amen to continue.

  3. 3

    Watch faithfulness grow

Build a daily prayer streak, keep your scheduled prayer times, and see the hours you've given back to what matters.

Frequently asked

How does Christian Prayer Lock work?

You choose which apps to guard. When you open one, a full-screen prayer appears first — matched to how you're feeling, built around scripture. Saying Amen unlocks the app for a window you choose (15, 30 or 60 minutes).

Is it free?

Christian Prayer Lock runs on the Covenant subscription — ongoing use of guarding, prayers, streaks and the scripture library is for active subscribers. The yearly plan includes a free trial so you can try everything first, and prices are always shown in the app before you confirm.

Can the app read my screen or messages?

No. The Android accessibility service is configured so it cannot read screen content — it only notices which app is coming to the foreground, checks it in memory, and never stores or transmits app names.

What data do you collect?

Nothing by default. Your prayers, moods, streaks and guarded apps stay on your device — there are no accounts and no cloud sync. Anonymous diagnostics exist as an opt-in switch you control.

When is it launching, and on which platforms?

Christian Prayer Lock is coming soon to Google Play for Android, with an iOS version planned to follow.
