Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Christian Prayer Lock, developed byAyelite Technologies PVT LTD ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Christian Prayer Lock for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the terms of the store you downloaded it from (Google Play or the Apple App Store).

How the app works

Christian Prayer Lock lets you place apps of your choosing behind a prayer screen — using Android's Accessibility service on Android, and Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework on iOS. You are always in control: you choose which apps to guard, you can use grace passes to skip a prayer, and you can disable the service or uninstall the app at any time. The app is a devotional and screen-time tool — it is not a parental-control, security, or content-filtering product, and it does not guarantee that guarded apps can never be opened (for example if the Accessibility service or Screen Time authorization is disabled by you or by the operating system).

Scripture & devotional content

Bible text in the app uses public-domain translations (World English Bible, King James Version, and Bible in Basic English). Prayers and devotional content are provided for personal spiritual encouragement only and are not professional counseling, medical, or mental health advice.

Subscription

Christian Prayer Lock requires the Covenant subscription: after setting up your profile, ongoing use of the app — guarding apps, the prayer experience, streaks, and the scripture library — is available to active subscribers. There is no permanent free tier.

• Plans: Covenant is an auto-renewing subscription available as a yearly or weekly plan, billed through Google Play on Android and the App Store on iOS. Current prices are always shown in the app and in the store before you confirm a purchase.
• Free trial: where offered, the yearly plan includes a free trial (currently 3 days). The trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends; we send a reminder notification before the first charge where notifications are enabled.
• Renewal & cancellation: subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in your Google Play or Apple subscription settings. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.
• Restore purchases: your subscription can be restored on devices signed in with the same Google or Apple account using "Restore purchases" in Settings.

All payments and refunds are handled by Google or Apple and are subject to their terms; we never see your payment details. On Android, purchase validation is processed by RevenueCat as described in ourPrivacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app except as permitted by law;
• circumvent subscription entitlements or use features you have not purchased;
• use the app for any unlawful purpose or to infringe others' rights.

Availability & changes

We may update, change, or discontinue the app or any feature (including the prayer library, streak rules, plans, and pricing of future renewal periods, with notice via the store) at any time. We aim to keep the app working but provide it "as is" without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Your prayers, streaks and settings are stored on your device; deleting the app deletes them.

Disclaimer & liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of streaks or other locally stored data.

Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by ourPrivacy Policy.

Governing terms

Google and Apple are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for the app. These Terms are between you and Ayelite Technologies PVT LTD, the developer of Christian Prayer Lock. If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard EULA applies to the extent it grants you additional rights.
