Swiper: Clean Phone Storage ("Swiper", "the app") helps you find and remove photos and videos you don't need, on Android and iOS. It is operated by Ayelite Technologies PVT LTD ("we", "us", "our"). Swiper is built so that your photos and videos never leave your phone. There are no accounts, no sign-in and no cloud sync, and we do not run any server that receives your photos or videos. The only data that leaves your phone is described below: subscription status (RevenueCat), usage analytics and crash reports (Firebase), and advertising measurement (Meta).
Photos and videos you move into the vault are encrypted with AES-256 and stored only inside the app on your phone. The encryption key and your PIN are protected by your phone's secure storage — the Keychain on iOS and the Android Keystore on Android. If you turn on Face ID, Touch ID or fingerprint unlock, the check is done by your phone; we never receive any biometric data. If you uninstall Swiper, the vault and everything in it is erased, and we cannot recover it.
Swiper Pro is sold through the App Store or Google Play, which handle your payment. We never see your card or payment details.
On both iOS and Android we use RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.) to check whether you have Swiper Pro and to restore purchases. RevenueCat receives a random anonymous identifier created by the app, your purchase and subscription status from the store (for example a trial starting, a renewal or a cancellation, with the price and currency), and basic technical information such as the app version, operating system and store country. It receives no name, no email, and nothing about your photos or videos. RevenueCat processes this on our behalf under itsprivacy policy. To measure our ads, RevenueCat also passes these subscription events to Meta, as described under "Advertising measurement" below.
To understand how Swiper is used and to fix crashes, the app uses Google Firebase Analyticsand Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC). Here is the whole of what they receive:
What is never included: your photos or videos, their names, dates, locations or contents, album names, anything in your vault, your vault PIN, or anything you type. Google processes this data under the Google Privacy Policyand Firebase's data processing terms. Usage analytics and crash reports are on by default; you can switch them off at any time in Swiper → Settings → Privacy → "Share usage & crash data".
We promote Swiper with ads on Facebook and Instagram. To learn which ads lead to installs and subscriptions, the app includes the Meta App Events SDK (Meta Platforms, Inc.). It sends Meta that the app was installed and opened, and three steps: onboarding finished, the Pro screen was viewed, and a purchase was started. RevenueCat sends Meta the subscription events described above. Along with these, Meta may receive your device's advertising identifier, device model, operating system and app version, and IP address.
Meta uses this data under the Meta Privacy Policy, including to measure and improve ad delivery. We never send Meta your photos, videos, vault contents, name or email.
If you allow notifications, Swiper may send one local reminder the day before a free trial ends. It is scheduled on your own phone; no notification service receives any data about you. You can switch notifications off in your phone's settings at any time.
Swiper keeps your settings and a short summary of your last scan (counts and sizes, not the photos themselves) on your phone. Uninstalling the app removes them.
Swiper is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has shared personal information with us, contact us and we will remove it.
If a future version ever collects anything new, this page will be updated before that version ships. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
