Privacy Policy

Effective date: 29 June 2026 · Last updated: 29 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information the GPS Map Camera : Geo Stamp mobile application (the "App"), operated by Ayelite Technologies, trading asAyelite ("we", "us", "our"), collects, how it is used and shared, and the choices and rights you have.

We designed the App to keep your photos, videos, and location data on your device by default. You do not need to give us your name, email address, or phone number to use the App. This Policy is incorporated into, and should be read together with, ourTerms of Use.

Plain-language summary. Your photos, videos, saved locations, and reports stay on your phone — we do not upload them. The App uses your location to stamp your media and to draw maps. To run the App we create an anonymous account and store a small amount of non-identifying device and usage information on our servers and with trusted providers, to deliver push notifications, manage purchases, show ads in the free version, and (optionally) diagnose crashes. You can turn off crash reporting, analytics, personalized ads, and promotional notifications, and you can ask us to delete your account data.

1. The information we collect

1.1 Location data

With your permission, the App accesses your device's precise (GPS) and approximate location to:

  • stamp your photos and videos with latitude, longitude, accuracy radius, and a human-readable address;
  • render the map shown on the stamp and on the App's map screens;
  • save locations you explicitly choose to save and power location-tagged field reports;
  • optionally run a foreground location service when you use a feature that requires continuous location while the App is active.

Reverse geocoding (turning coordinates into an address) is performed on-device using the Android system geocoder where available. Your location coordinates and addresses are embedded into the media files you create and stored on your device; we do not upload your location history to our servers, and we do not profile or sell it. Location information is never included in the analytics events described in Section 1.4.

1.2 Camera, microphone, photos and videos

The App uses your camera and, for video, your microphone to capture geo-stamped media. Captured photos and videos, saved locations, reports, custom stamp text, and PDF/image exports are stored in the App's storage on your device. We do not upload your photos, videos, or reports to our servers. They leave your device only when youdeliberately share or export them using your device's standard share options.

1.3 Account information

  • Anonymous account (default). On first use, the App registers an anonymous account identified by a randomly generated identifier. This is not your Android ID or advertising ID, and it is not linked to your real-world identity.
  • Credentialed account (optional). You may choose to upgrade your account by providing an email address and password. If you do, we store your email and a securely hashed (bcrypt) version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.

1.4 Device, session, and diagnostic data

Analytics events never include your GPS coordinates, photos, videos, media file paths, or report contents. Crash reporting is off by default and is only enabled if you opt in (Settings → Privacy). Analytics can be turned off in Settings.

1.5 Advertising

The free version of the App shows advertising provided by Google AdMob (banner, interstitial, rewarded, native, and app-open formats). Where ads are shown, AdMob may access your device's advertising identifier (AAID) to serve and measure ads. On first launch, where required by law (for example in the EEA and UK), you will be shown a Google-certified consent prompt. You can reset or limit ad personalization in your device's Google settings. Purchasing the Pro plan removes advertising. (The Lite plan unlocks premium features but does not remove ads.)

1.6 Maps

Map display and the burned-in stamp map are powered by the Google Maps SDK / Maps APIs. Google may process your location and device information to provide these services, subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

2. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • provide the App's core function — capturing geo-stamped photos and videos and organizing them;
  • create and maintain your account and secure your sign-in sessions;
  • deliver push notifications you have allowed;
  • process, validate, and restore in-app purchases;
  • show advertising in the free version, where applicable;
  • understand feature usage and improve the App (analytics), where enabled;
  • diagnose crashes and improve stability (only if you enable crash reporting);
  • prevent fraud and abuse and enforce our Terms; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photos, videos, or precise location for advertising or profiling.

3. Legal bases for processing (EEA / UK users)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract — to provide the App and process your purchases;
  • Consent — for location access, push notifications, personalized advertising, crash reporting, and analytics where consent is required (you may withdraw consent at any time);
  • Legitimate interests — to secure our Service, prevent abuse, and improve the App, balanced against your rights.

4. Third-party services

The App relies on the following service providers, each governed by its own privacy policy:

  • Google Play / Google Play Billing — policies.google.com/privacy
  • Google Maps — policies.google.com/privacy
  • Google Firebase (Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics, Analytics) — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
  • Google AdMob and User Messaging Platform — support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543
  • RevenueCat (purchase management) — revenuecat.com/privacy
  • Supabase (backend hosting) — supabase.com/privacy

We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their practices.

5. Data retention

  • On-device content — photos, videos, saved locations, reports, and settings remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App.
  • Account and device records — retained while the App is installed and for a limited period afterward, until you request deletion.
  • Session/refresh tokens — automatically expire (refresh tokens within approximately 30 days) and are rotated regularly.
  • Analytics events — retained to support product analytics; you may request deletion of the events associated with your account.
  • Crash diagnostics — retained by Firebase according to Google's retention schedule.
  • Purchase records — retained as required for accounting, tax, and to support restores.
  • Audit logs — administrative actions affecting an account are retained in an immutable audit log for security and accountability.

6. How we share information

We share information only as described in this Policy:

  • with the service providers listed in Section 4, to perform the functions described;
  • to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect our rights, users, or the public; and
  • in connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, or sale of assets), subject to this Policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

7. Your choices and rights

  • Permissions — grant or revoke camera, microphone, location, and notification permissions at any time in your device's system settings. Revoking a permission may disable related features.
  • Crash reporting — off by default; toggle in Settings → Privacy.
  • Analytics — opt out in Settings; this disables analytics collection.
  • Promotional notifications — opt out in the App's settings or your device notification settings.
  • Advertising — reset or opt out of ad personalization via your device's Google settings, or remove ads by purchasing Pro.
  • Access, export, correction, and deletion — subject to applicable law (including GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may request access to, a copy (export) of, correction of, or deletion of the account data we hold. To make a request, contact us at info@ayelite.com and, if available, include your account's anonymous identifier so we can locate your records. We support both a temporary deactivation and a permanent, irreversible deletion of account data. Uninstalling the App also removes all on-device data, including your photos, videos, locations, and reports.
  • Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

8. Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including HTTPS for all network communication, hashed storage of passwords (bcrypt) and refresh tokens, encrypted storage of authentication tokens on the device, access controls, rate limiting, and audit logging of administrative actions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International data transfers

Our service providers may process and store data on servers located outside your country. Where this occurs, those providers maintain safeguards consistent with applicable data-protection laws (such as Standard Contractual Clauses where required).

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
